2010.....was filled with both accomplishes and disappointments.
SLEEP: Most nights I got home after midnight and was probably in bed around 2am as I did stuff like washing or shower or computer work before trying to relax enough to sleep by watching a dvd until turning it off around 4am. The alarm would go off around 8am, I would hit the snooze until 8:20-8:30 then get up and dress and out the door at 8:45 to get to work at 9am.
HEALTH: Not good at all. I had headaches weekly, every morning I felt sick and ill, I was extremley tired mainly from not sleeping very well at night. I was forgeting stuff and had trouble talking at times and feeling like I wasnt getting stuff done. I wasnt in the mood to do much in the evening and everything felt like too much and exhausting. My knee injury in March took until December to stop hurting (that was from stopping sports over the holidays and physio) and my hips ankles and back gave me constant pains. On a Sunday if I had to clean the bird cages, the fish tanks and do all 4 loads of laundry and vacuum and clean the bathroom then that night I would not be able to move at all due to muscle strain and nerve pinching. 22nd of December I sliced my hand open with mandolin slicer.
FITNESS: Was poor, unable to run at all any more or for only a few minutes....well seconds (beep test = stage 3.1), my knee pain from injury was taking a while to heal most the year actually. No netball any more because of having no energy or fitness. The only sport was bowling 3 nights/days a week. And the occasional fun runs which I walked! Even though I had a goal to beat last years times for the runs I wish it was by a better time. Due
DIET: Was very poor, as I didnt get up until late and left the house with no breakfast or by drinking a cup of tea with 3 sugars in the car on the way to work (8:50am). Morning tea was either a made ice coffee or another cup of tea as I am not quite awake yet (11:30am). Lunch either water or nothing or another cup of tea or ice coffee at (2pm). Dinner was mainly eating out a restaurant or takeaway (with friends or my bf) 4 night a week nights due to what was planned after dinner (7-8pm). And a cup of tea or coffee when I got home at (12am). Restaurants: KFC, Pizza Hut, Thai, Chinese, Italian pizza and pasta, pub food, cafe food, Subway, Maccas (rarely), Hamburger takeaway, BBQ chicken takeaways. Also like my desserts and junk lollies and chocolate in moderate amounts and moderately. Reasoning??? 3 nights a week I would be home by 7 to be able to cook a meal for dinner, while on the healthy side I know the portion was one and half times it should have been but seeing as how it was mainly my one and only meal of the day I didnt think much of it. The other days by the time I finished work and then had to be elsewhere the were times when I only had 40-60mins to not only get dinner and eat it but be at the next location.
